thank God for His mercy to see me thru.

Lord, help me to grow in faith, and to know you more everyday.
Lord, bless my family members
and guide my sister-in-law and her children
to come to know you.
Lord, hv mercy on them,
open their heart, and soul and mind
to receive you and welcome you as Savior.

why i believe what i believe
Why I believe what I believe
this is a tough question.
i dun hv an easy ans
out of so many religions, theories, sciences ...
perhaps i find it more believable among the rest ...
or perhaps the 'witnesses' tt i've seen
or heard or i've experienced meself
i make my choice.
i choose to believe in Him
it requires a leap of faith
i behave by going thru the cognitive thinking
analyse wat's right n wrong
think abt the welfare of others rather than self
afterall its just a simple game
and we dun hv to hold on to our
own right so tightly
learn to let go of my personal right
for the sake of benefit of others
pple have freedom and they all make different choices
they will behave according to their perspective system
afterall we hv to be a responsible person
to take up responsibility
whether y like it or not,
we will face a definite destiny
i.e. the final judgment
all of us will be judged by wat we hv done.
i guess this is a fair game
why you believe what you believe?

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire and the earth and eveything in it will be laid bare.
Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? you ought to live a holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
Therefore dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
(2 Peter 3:10-18)

Love is a funny thing. you cant see it, yet you can experience it. who can tell me that he/she has love? someone says "i love u". how do i know?
i guess it is only through the action that he or she demonstrated i can only tell.
action speaks louder than words wad. no point keep saying how much i love so and so, yet i have not moved a single finger to do the thing that i have mentioned.
a strange thing i see nowadays. we talk so much about the fruit of the holy spirit, are we really practising it? we say we are a people of love, are we really care for others with a pure heart and a pure motive without expecting anything for return? do we have love for one another? what kinda love you are talkin about for your brother and sister? how do they know? are we patient and kind with one another? could we be gentle with those whom we think is the weaker ones? do we have e a understanding for one another?
i dunno...what kinda people we are? im getting confused now.
wat is christ-like lifestyle?

LONG TIME DIN BLOG
there are fewer pple attending church nowadays. two families have gone to worship at QTCMC temporary. of course their children follow the parents. from nov onward, grace and angela cheng, kel & joanna, eunice & eugene are not with us. oh yar jenny & jamie have migrate to NZ. these young pple have left us in nov 2006. grace & angela have to follow mom to another church.
i thk it is getting common nowadays. pple comin and goin out.
what actually holds pple together? wat's a relationship looks like? wat's christ-like lifestyle?
is our brothers and sisters being heard? why are there many dissatisfaction or frustration here and there? why are there no communication? why are there so much unhappiness?
can we be kind to one another? can we be a bit more patient with one another? do we care for others? wat are we make up of? wat are the good that we have done onto others?
a true fren is someone who is faithful to his fren, willing to encourage and make him or her feel uneasy abt things that he or she is comfortable with...
i hope that we can have child-like faith, true to one another, and be humble and patient with one another...

some thots
im feeling there is so much things got to be done..the church, the young people, their spiritual lives..pple talking about revival...pple wanting to see result, increase in numbers..
but i can sense tt some pple are not ready to reach out...they are not ready to just follow instruction and attending many church activities...they r so stressed up with studies, exam, ministry...etc... i realli understand what they are going through...but not many pple can understand them...
as for myself, i sense that God has spoken to me today...i want to have the desire for God, i want to enjoy God, i wanna have JOY that is lasting, the peace comes from God that guides my heart...i wanna draw close to God, if not satan will draw close to me, and rob away the joy and peace.
thank you God for the comforting message that comes from Ps 23 when henry was sharing during yf. God's goodness and mercy will follow me-very comforting message. God the shepherd will provide and pardon me of my many sins tt i have committed...
once again i wanna thank God.

Is life beautiful?
Or is it boredom?
Is there something that you can do to make a difference?
Is there an impact you can bring to your generation?
You hold in your hands a work of love.
The 40-Day prayer guide.
This issue is special. It commemorates ten sessions of 40-Day prayer with fasting. Behind this work of extraordinary love are ordinary people who prefer to remain unnamed, unacknowledged - so that the Lord our God will get all the credit, all the honor, all the glory, and all the praise.
To mark this significant milestone, we went for a different style, a different approach. We pulled together a team, a mix of young and old. It's a prophetic act to signal a generation shift. So we got a twenty-something to do most of the writing, allowing her the space to transcribe the groans of the Spirit deep within her soul. The chief editors are people in their fifties with a unique calling to stand with God for His revival and prophetic dreams for this nation. Our proof reader is a spunky thirteen year old who did more than just proof read. With a sense of mission, she queried and gave excellent input that sharpened our thinking. Though the age gap is significant, there was nonetheless a fantastic chemistry. There was easy agreement and mutual submission. There was the overflow of passion, and the evidence of God's amazing grace from start to end. To God be all glory.
The theme this year is Defining Moments. It's an invitation to get up close and personal with God. Look inside, Go deep. It’s a call to grow up and move beyond self. Look far. Ask big. Defining Moments.
It's a choice.

DIN BLOG 4 LONG TIME
Not blogging for a long time.
No time to do so.
Is that true? Dunno
I slept until 11am this morning
Until Kok Wei woke me up.
Haiyah...still feel very tired...
I slept at 3.30am for the past 2 nites.
Got to finish my case records and some other stuff.
Anyway i quickly brushed up, took shower, rushed to fmss.
Henry, Pam, Samuel, Zhihui, Zhi Xuan were at the canteen.
TY came last.
Today is the PSLE talk.
17 families signed up, and 2 families walked in today.
Altogether we have 38 parents and children attend the talk.
Chen 'lao shi' is fantastic.
She is an experienced Chinese teacher.
She is also an examiner for PSLE.
She is damn good, can catch the audience's attention.
And give good talk.
Parents and their kids pay attention to her very much.
She has given a lot of good 'tips' for the Psixers
to prepare their PSLE Chinese.
Wishing all Psixers do their best in the PSLE.
Zhixuan and company have given a promo on the
Dec preparation camp for the Psixers.
The main focus of the camp is to prepare
the psixers for the secondary school life.
At the end of today session,
Received 2 forms indicated have interest in attending
the Dec Preparation camp.
1 is still considering.
Hope that more pupils can come to the prep camp.
Talked to pastor after the talk.
He mentioned that we need to pray for some church members
Who are going through difficult time.
Feeling upset for those families.
Yet i will keep those people in my prayers.
I am feeling headache now.
What to do for tomorrow yf?
Is small group outing.
No idea where to go.
Where to bring the sec 1 and 2 kids to?
Dun wanna think it now.
Wanna sleep now...
nitz...

Let's take time
Let's take time to wait upon the Lord
Let's take time to wait upon the Lord
Let's take time to listen to His voice
Unless the Lord build the house
They labour in vain
Let's take time to wait upon the Lord
I love this song
If anyone has the whole lyric
Please let me know
Arikato!!!

is there meaning
Amazing
Is there revival in the church? I want to believe there is. T&T came for service without their cousins. That is great. And the pastor has overcome some barrier and delivered the message that the church needed to hear. There are things that happened these few days unexpectedly. We cant focus in men, they are such a damn lousy creatures. Messages telling us to focus in God, find peace and hope in Him. Do pray for B's family and herself. Also pray for W's family. This family needs professional help. They need not judgment, not pamper, not condemnation, they need us to speak in truth and love. How things will turn out? Nobody knows. Now I manage to see things clearer, see how the church is functioning? Unity dun come easily, everyone needs to contribute their part to make it happen. The Holy Spirit wants us to maintain unity. When there is love, there is hope, there is transformation. A very good day for me. I am able to make pieces here and there together. The counselor of fei yue shared with me bout somebody, tat somebody is from our church. The sister in Christ shared with me bout the family who is someone we know. Things happen so coincidental... God is good, He is revealing his heart. People dun care how much you know until they know how much you care. May we be sensitive in God's soft prompting...

Maundy Thursday Service
Maundy Thursday Service
This year I attended the Maundy Thursday Service at Seng Kang Methodist Church. I needed to finish my assignment asap and I thought of Seng Kang MC which is nearer to my house. It was quite a special and meaningful service for me. We were given a time for prayer and reflection at the end of the service. Believers are encouraged to come forward to the stage, kneel before the Lord Jesus to pray and to meditate. In fact many believers went forward. Pastors and church leaders were praying for them. It's a heartening moment to see people praying for one another. The Holy Spirit is working and flowing among them. What a special moment. People were just focused in praying for the brothers and sisters. Guo Wei and I went forward too, we experienced the warmth and love of God that flow through us. We received prayer and ministry from them. It's such an unexpected moment for both of us and other believers to get close to God, to kneel before Him, and let his love touches us once again. May all of us experience a different and meaningful holy week this year. And we desire to obey Him and to deny ourselves, carry our cross daily and follow Him.

Today dialogue session
Today dialogue session
About the 9am praise & worship service changes to an English service. It is actually not a pure English service cos the 25 mins worship singing still bilingual. The only difference is we hv English sermons every Sunday.
Few young people voiced their opinions, perhaps others hv reasons for not saying anything. I actually felt touched when someone said what matters most is, a good speaker whether be it chinese or english speaking, can deliver gd message. This is the principle that we always hold on to. Our congregation has grown up and is maturing. They desire good sermon which help them to grow in faith. We want to hv gd sermon so that we can be ministered and to live the faith and walk the talk.
During the session, people asked questions like why not remains as bilingual service. Sometimes our young people who hv frens come from foreign land, feel more comfortable to listen to mandarin. And they will follow our youths to attend youth group.
One concern brought up, our congregation is not committed to bring their non-christian friends to church. Difficulties they face, for example, their fren's parent does not allow them to go church; their friends are English speaking. If we notice, there are many English speaking churches around Dover. There isn’t a lack of worship place.
A voice from one of the parents, mentioned dat since the church has not a clear vision, perhaps we shall consider to wait upon the Lord and seek His will. There isnt any concrete strategy presented to the congregation.
Finally, LCEC chairman concluded dat church members submit to the leaders' decision. Let's pray for the church. The church is the body of Christ, and we are the church. Our church is unique, the culture is unique as well. We hv people from all age groups, and we hv the close bonding of a big family. It is the love and fellowship that keep people stay.
Let's prayerfully seek God to guide and show us His will for the 9am praise & worship service. Pray dat more intercessors will participate in the work of God's Kingdom.
Are you in the team working alongside with God? Are you considering to be an intercessor for the church, to pray for the direction and vision of the church?
About the 9am praise & worship service changes to an English service. It is actually not a pure English service cos the 25 mins worship singing still bilingual. The only difference is we hv English sermons every Sunday.
Few young people voiced their opinions, perhaps others hv reasons for not saying anything. Difficult to accept
Difficult to accept
I just cant control my tears after hearing the bad news from huilin at 10pm. I really cant believe it. How can it be? This isn't true... impossible... impossible... how can my friends just missing after the cruise accident and are leaving us so sudden... i am not going to accept it... if that's really true, I dare not imagine how heart-broken are my 2 friends' parents and family members... this isnt true...
Some are struggling to survive... some are trying to end their life... some are hurting their bodies in order to .... some find no meaning in living... we think that our life belong to us and we can do whatever we want with our life... is that really so? My mind is not thinking... too hard for me to believe and accept the fact... hope that this isnt true... there is still chance for my friends to be alive... i pray...

journeying with Christ to the Cross
Journeying with Christ to the Cross
I am wondering how is everyone spiritual journey with the Lord Jesus now. I've been using some devotional materials to help me thinking about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Despite my busy schedule, I read the purple booklet "Journeying with Christ to the Cross" in the morning before I start my day. Read either "Everyday with Jesus" or "Upper Room" at night. I wanna tell you how much I am touched as I read His Words with an attitude expecting God to speak to me, I begin to see that God wanna me to adopt a humble attitude towards people. He shows me the message that it is my HEART that matters most. No point in performing all kinda religious ritual, yet my heart is far away from Him.
When we fast & pray, give tithing and do charity, remember to also demonstrate justice, mercy and faithfulness to others (Matt 23:23).
I wanna share with you this song that has been helping me when I am upset and distracted.
Still
Hide me now
Under Your wings
Cover me
With in Your mighty hand
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with You above the storm
Father You are King over the flood
I will be still know You are God
Find rest my soul
In Christ alone
Know His power
In quietness and trust
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with You above the storm
Father You are King over the flood
I will be still know You are God
During this season of Lent, are we walking with Lord Jesus?
Or He is walking all alone to the Cross?

Knowing who God is
For reading & meditation - luke 11:1-13
"When you pray, say: "Father…" (John 17:2)
We consider now the opening words of our Lord's prayer in John 17, bearing in mind the prayer Christ construct for his disciples in luke 11. The word Father appears at the beginning of both prayers. "Father," Jesus said in John 17:1, "the time has come." Our Lord not only taught his disciples to address God as "Father" but he did so himself.
Why is it important to address God as "Father"? Well, one reason is that it turns our minds away from ourselves to our Father who is in heaven. Then and only then, can we get the right perspective on things. Our biggest failure in prayer begins when we rush into God's presence and start presenting our petitions w/o any regard to who God is. This only serves to concentrate our attention on what is already troubling us, and increases our awareness of our lack. When we begin by focusing on God as someone who takes a Father's interest in his children, and concentrate on him, thinking about his greatness, his power and his eagerness to give, the first thing we receive is a calm spirit. The tendency to plunge into a panicky flood of words leaves us, and we begin to realize that cos God is our Father ther is an entirely diff way of looking at matters.
Also the very mention of the word "Father" helps us understand that we are not engaging in a theological dialogue; we are talking to our Father. And "Father" is a relationship word; we cant call God "Father" w/o acknowledging that we are his children. No prayer can be true prayer unless we understand that when we talk to him as a child talks to a loving father.
Prayer:
O Father, with what joy I say that word. Help me never to forget that prayer begins with adoration, not with supplication - with the focus on you, not me. Forgive me that so often I get things the wrong way round. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Prayer reveals the pray-er
For reading and meditation - John 17:1-26
"My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil ones" (v15)
There is no better way to prepare our hearts for the Easter season, I believe, than by a serious comtemplation of the prayer of our Lord found in John 17. It is to this sublime passage, therefore, that I intend to draw your attention in the weeks that lie ahead. Today we begin by reading the whole prayer, and then we shall focus on it verse by verse and phrase by phrase.
It is customary to refer to the prayer Christ framed for his disciples which is recorded in luke 11 and matt 6 as the Lord's prayer, but in reality that was not a prayer Jesus used Himself - at least not in its entirety. I cannot imagine him praying "forgive us our sins" for he had no sins to forgive. In John 17, however, we see our lord himself at prayer. The prayer we are about to study was prayed in the shadow of the cross, just moments b4 jesus left the upper room and went with his disciples into the dark valley of the kidron.
We can tell a lot about people by the way they pray. When I was a pastor I could frequently detect where individuals were spiritually by listening closely to their prayers. Something they would say, a phrase they might use, would be like a window into their soul. I would then encourage them to open up to me to share what was going on in their life. Often, though not always, our conversation would lead to the discussion of some important issues affecting their life.
What do we learn about our Lord as we listen to him pray within hours of being crucified? One thing we discover is that though his body would soon be stretched on a cross, his primary thoughts were not himself but the wellbeing of his disciples. The prayer reveals the pray-er. And how!
Prayer:
Gracious and loving Father, unfold to me by your Spirit the riches and depth of this, my savior's prayer. May my experience be that new light breaks forth from your Word as I meditate on it day by day. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Jesus be the centre of my life
To Yee Shuang,
wow u've learnt so much from the sunday's video. it's one of e touching video i ever seen. artaban walks his talk, and lives his faith. it's comforting to noe tt at the end, Jesus praised artaban tt he has offered his best to Him as he did it onto one of the least of these brothers of Jesus, he has done it onto Him (matt 25:35-40). artaban has offered his life for Jesus.

just lyk artaban, sometimes we'll also face troubles or problems in life, but he didn't give up. he cont to give his life for those pple around him who are in need. he even bothered to stop to help, to care and to educate. he didn't waste his life in the end!!! deep in him, i believe he has a conviction he wants to fullfil.
i was reminded by this song we sang during sunday service.
Jesus be the centre
Verse 1:
Jesus, be the centre
Be my source, be my light
Jesus
Jesus, be the centre
Be my hope, be my song
Jesus
Chorus:
Be the fire in my heart
Be the wind in these sails
Be the reason that I live
Jesus, Jesus
Verse 2:

Be my path, be my guide

Jesus Redeemer mighty to save
You are the love song we’ll sing forever
Bowing before You Blessing Your name

i will be still, know you are God
find rest my soul
in Christ alone
Know His power
In quietness and trust
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with You above the storm
Father You are King over the flood
I will be still know You are God
i guess they care just tt we are so constrain by the space and the time...
well is ok i guess i must not take them for granted, just need to take initiative... okie...i will cont to do my part and also to pray n ask for guidance..seek for him ...i still want to trust God to do wonderful things in my family for he is the great God.
i've found strength and comfort in this song,
"Be Still"
hide me now
under your wings
cover me
within your mighty hand
when the oceans rise and thunders roar
i will soar with you above the storm
father you are king over the flood
i will be still, know you are God
find rest my soul
in Christ alone
Know His power
In quietness and trust
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with You above the storm
Father You are King over the flood
I will be still know You are God

NICE sessions
Rekindle my passion again !!!
I only slept for 2 hours ytd. Need to rush out my case reports. Dun feel like waking up this morning, but cannot. Got to reach BB fsc at 930am to attend the case conference.
To my surprise, I met my coursemate at BB. She is also assigned to this team, together with me.
Okie, I'm not alone anymore.
The session todae was fun, there are 2 gals from the eGen team in my team. They are pple working with young pple through e-communication. They set up nice blog, do counseling online. They have been doing wonderful things for young pple. There are lots of things I can learn from them ... hehe…
I feel fulfilled and satisfied 2nite even though I'm very tired. Have talked to a 12 years old boy during e counselling session, get a contract wif him not to threaten with death again. Nowadays kids face not only study stress, stress tt comes from the family. There was a saga happened in his school ytd. i guess the pressure tt he has is very great...poor little boy...not being understand by his loved ones ... "don't shout at me, i'm not deaf." "dont scold me, i'm very scared."
The boy seems to open up more to me 2nite. I have not been c-ing him for past 2 mths. He seems happier to talk, but he really facing prob in life. God pls watch over him and protect him from any evil thots...pls help to take care of him !!!
There are really lots of needs for pple here and there. Hope I can have 48 hrs per day…sigh…
I can do so much so let it be a blessing for the others. Let's do it wif our heart without any regrets next times. Okie…shall go and sleep..i'm really really very tired … I'm an owl …hehehe…
oops, i hv forgotten to check sth..impt...go online again to chk the email to see wad's happening in sch again...gd nitz...
Trusting God to give me inspiration, strength n wisdom ... haha... fearing the Lord is the beginning of knowledge ...

a new habbit developed
this year CNY is a peaceful one, have catch up wif
family, relatives plus some friends.
i can say i like it very much!
went to hv lunch wif my mum, sometimes she will feel lonely
to be alone at home. and she will tell mi stories bout
wad happened lately. it's nice talking to her so tt she knows
tt we care.
have been meeting God every morning.
saying hello to him and talking to him
has become a habbit alr.
hope can carry on e'day.
feel tt i need to have wisdom in order to live life fully
and live it well.

The Brevity of Life
Psalm 39:4-7, Hebrews 6:9-12
Teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts into wisdom.
Recently i visited the graveyard where my parents are buried. As i stood at their gravesite, both pleasant and painful memories came to mind. Within a few minutes, my thots shifted away from the past to e future. I realized that within a few years, my own sons might take a similar visit to my grave. The inevitability of death overwhelmed me.
But my ruminations bout e future did not create in me a melancholy mood. Instead, I thot bout ways I could "redeem e time" I have left on earth. I began to pray, asking e Lord to help me finish my life well. I asked God to increase e fruitfulness of my ministries and to make my later years more effective than my younger years. Focusing on my mortality resulted in a recommitment of my life to Christ and his work.
Realising that we are going to die can become encouragement for living well and fully and can motivate us to invest more in eternity. As Psalm 90:12 says, wisdom comes when we "number our days".
Prayer:
God, help us to live for eternity by keeping e end of this life in view. In the character and ministry that you have given each of us, help us to finish well. Amen.
Thought for the day:
Realising life's brevity can become wisdom for living each day fully.

Quiet Time 30 Jan 2006
mum and sis and 2nd bro came to my hse 4 dinner
and i cooked for them. my sis is on m.c.
we enjoyed very much talking and
crapping. later we visited my bro who also stays in sengkang.
he went to fetch her eldest daughter who had abacus' learning.
after she came home, she started to do her higher chinese, maths.
she is now in P3. realised they have tones of hmwk
and find tt she is self discipline and her dad dun hv to
worry too much for her.
my other 2 cousins, 5 and 3 years old, are playing and
teasing each other. with them ard they can turn e hse
upside down...can u believe it???
wanna jot down my QT as a reminder before i forget.
Quiet Time for 30 Jan 2006
this msg is very close to my heart.
Harsh Words
Read luke 6:37-42
Do not judge, and you will not be judged.
Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.
Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
My mother is 65 years old. Every day she bustles in and out of the house doing chores from washing to cleaning to mopping to cooking for the family. One day she accidentally dropped the blender while washing it, and the plastic container cracked. It could not be used anymore. I was angry with her because I use the blender everyday. I would have to spend money to buy a new one. Without thinking, I scolder her for being careless, my words were harsh.
That evening before bed, the Lord spoke to me during my quiet time. The message was, "Do to others as you would have them do to you." (luke 6:31). Too often we find ourselves ready to pass judgment on someone. Why can't we instead choose to see them thru eyes of compassion and kindness as Christ did? Christ always looked at pple with compassion - and still does.
I was filled with remorse over how I had treated mum earlier that day. I asked God to forgive me. Then I went to mum's room, hugged her, and told her I was sorry for shouting at her. She forgave me, too.
Prayer:
Dear God, help us to see others with kindness and compassion, as you do. Teach us to be patient and forgiving towards others. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Thought for the day:
People are always more important than things.

God answers my prayer
i went to china town this afternoon,
wanna look for a tailor to alter my UB4 camp t-shirt.
the size is too big 4 me even though i m getting xs. ^sigh^
i ask God to show me and bring me to a tailor in half an hour.
i am laughing at myself...i feel tt dun noe if God
is angry wif me or not. heyy i m demanding kz.
but anw i walked n looked out for tailor shop
in tt shopping mall. then i came to this small shop
on the 2nd level (A12), people park complex.
there are 2 ladies in the shop.
so i asked them, "do you alter t-shirt?"
to my surprise one of e ladies answered "yes"
i was lyke "arh...my prayer comes true!"
my heart was filled wif joy...realli...
hey God is listening to me.
God is so good.
i am thinking i am just asking a small thing,
and God answers my prayer instantly.
of course i have to say tt sometimes my prayers
are not answered immediately just like 2dae.
sometimes we got to "wait", or perhaps sometimes
God's answer is "no".
this incident once again reminds me tt we must
learn to be grateful for everything.
be thankful for both great and small things/ blessings
in life...learn to be contented in good or bad situations.
ya i think even though i cant find the tailor to alter
e shirt, i still have so much things to thank God for.
i am much much fortunate than so many pple,
think of those who are less fortunate, those who are
sick, those who are fighting battle wif their own desires,
u can give a long loooonnnng list...hahaha...
tell u, i am not going to grumble..
i am not going to waste my life complaining,
i wanna be contented wif wad i have in life.
cheers!

A tiring day
a tiring day lor. reached home ard 11pm
after doing the volunteering work at bt batok.
my heart is always filled wif a sense of achievement
when i saw the children n guided them in
small group discussion. and i always felt
very happy to be wif them.
some of them are so decent, others so keen to learn.
i guess this is something tt make me feel
glad about my contribution to these kids.
interestingly, they are either malay or indian.
no chinese families in this children program.
i wonder will i continue my volunteering service
next time bcos e journey home is so looooong.
see how God guides my heart.
i wanna choose to trust Him and see Him guide me.
got to be serious in doing some reading
for my course already, if not i will feel guilty again!
i dun like that feeling, i better start reading tmr.
Lord grant me a willing heart
to be self-discipline.
The Holy Spirit helps me to bear the fruit
of self control so tt i can bring good to pple ard me.
Self control is saying "no" to what i want/ desire
and "yes" to thing that is right!
Lord, help me:
not to act impulsively;
to set limit;
not to equate desire with rights;
see anger as a sign of something is wrong;
walk away from things that aren't right.
Amen.
after doing the volunteering work at bt batok.
my heart is always filled wif a sense of achievement
when i saw the children n guided them in
small group discussion. and i always felt
very happy to be wif them.
some of them are so decent, others so keen to learn.
i guess this is something tt make me feel
glad about my contribution to these kids.
interestingly, they are either malay or indian.
no chinese families in this children program.
i wonder will i continue my volunteering service
next time bcos e journey home is so looooong.
see how God guides my heart.
i wanna choose to trust Him and see Him guide me.
got to be serious in doing some reading
for my course already, if not i will feel guilty again!
i dun like that feeling, i better start reading tmr.
Lord grant me a willing heart
to be self-discipline.
The Holy Spirit helps me to bear the fruit
of self control so tt i can bring good to pple ard me.
Self control is saying "no" to what i want/ desire
and "yes" to thing that is right!
Lord, help me:
not to act impulsively;
to set limit;
not to equate desire with rights;
see anger as a sign of something is wrong;
walk away from things that aren't right.
Amen.

They are always in my prayers.
This is true, and this is a commitment
between me and God.
Yeapp Lord i wanna keep them in
my prayers.
May i ask that YOU keep and guide them
everyday so that they will experience
your LOVE and GRACE and STRENGTH.

To j3nNy
to jenny:
I admire your enthusiasm and the passion for young people.
I thank God for you, Jenny, u r the precious child of God.
So are those people around you.
God views us as his precious, important, valuable,
and unique child that He has sent his beloved Son
Jesus to die for us, to forgive all our sins,
and whoever believes and trusts in Him
will have NEW LIFE.
I believe you will experience God's loveand strength
more each day as you journey into 2006.
And you will be a loving disciple of Christ.
And your life will make an impact to others.
Your reflection is always filled with inspirations.
Keep it up and it'll be a blessing for those who read your blog.
(But remember, not to pressurize yourself,
you need to manage your time well,
cannot neglect your studies, family relationship
and your witness in school for your schoolmates and
teachers okay) ^ grin ^
For the mentoring thingy, I have a suggestion for you.
Pray to God again.
I guess you mentor Minnie, sixuan, and Jamie.
Also help sixuan or Minnie to see the importance
of mentoring. Hopefully after some times,
one of them is willing to mentor Alicia.
You may ask how about Grace? I will not forget her.
Let's continue to pray for this mentoring thingy.
I say this because I do not want to overload anyone
Who has the passion for God's people
and the commitment in fulfilling Jesus' great commission
which spells out in Matthew 28:18-20 (GO and MAKE DISCIPLE).
The strategy is that we want to work as a team and invite
More young people to participate in fulfilling
the mission together. This is one of the ways
to help more young people to experience the love and
power of God as they grow in faith and in service for
The Lord in their spiritual lives.
Let's be encouraged by God's word in 1 Tim 4:12,
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are
Young, but set an example for the believers in speech,
in life, In love, in faith and in purity." Amen!!!
JESUS LOVES YOU and BE WITH YOU.
