Be Still
i realli dun lyk myself...feel bleeding deep down in my heart...wad i hope 2 c is a harmonious relationship in my family...everybody is willing to listen to one another...trying to be understanding... hearing one another out..helping one another...everyone is so busy with their own lives, family commitment, work ...etc .... do we realli care for one another
i guess they care just tt we are so constrain by the space and the time...
well is ok i guess i must not take them for granted, just need to take initiative... okie...i will cont to do my part and also to pray n ask for guidance..seek for him ...i still want to trust God to do wonderful things in my family for he is the great God.
i've found strength and comfort in this song,
"Be Still"
hide me now
under your wings
cover me
within your mighty hand
when the oceans rise and thunders roar
i will soar with you above the storm
father you are king over the flood
i will be still, know you are God
find rest my soul
in Christ alone
Know His power
In quietness and trust
When the oceans rise and thunders roar
I will soar with You above the storm
Father You are King over the flood
I will be still know You are God
i guess they care just tt we are so constrain by the space and the time...

NICE sessions
Rekindle my passion again !!!
I only slept for 2 hours ytd. Need to rush out my case reports. Dun feel like waking up this morning, but cannot. Got to reach BB fsc at 930am to attend the case conference.
To my surprise, I met my coursemate at BB. She is also assigned to this team, together with me.
Okie, I'm not alone anymore.
The session todae was fun, there are 2 gals from the eGen team in my team. They are pple working with young pple through e-communication. They set up nice blog, do counseling online. They have been doing wonderful things for young pple. There are lots of things I can learn from them ... hehe…
I feel fulfilled and satisfied 2nite even though I'm very tired. Have talked to a 12 years old boy during e counselling session, get a contract wif him not to threaten with death again. Nowadays kids face not only study stress, stress tt comes from the family. There was a saga happened in his school ytd. i guess the pressure tt he has is very great...poor little boy...not being understand by his loved ones ... "don't shout at me, i'm not deaf." "dont scold me, i'm very scared."
The boy seems to open up more to me 2nite. I have not been c-ing him for past 2 mths. He seems happier to talk, but he really facing prob in life. God pls watch over him and protect him from any evil thots...pls help to take care of him !!!
There are really lots of needs for pple here and there. Hope I can have 48 hrs per day…sigh…
I can do so much so let it be a blessing for the others. Let's do it wif our heart without any regrets next times. Okie…shall go and sleep..i'm really really very tired … I'm an owl …hehehe…
oops, i hv forgotten to check sth..impt...go online again to chk the email to see wad's happening in sch again...gd nitz...
Trusting God to give me inspiration, strength n wisdom ... haha... fearing the Lord is the beginning of knowledge ...

The Brevity of Life
Psalm 39:4-7, Hebrews 6:9-12
Teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts into wisdom.
Recently i visited the graveyard where my parents are buried. As i stood at their gravesite, both pleasant and painful memories came to mind. Within a few minutes, my thots shifted away from the past to e future. I realized that within a few years, my own sons might take a similar visit to my grave. The inevitability of death overwhelmed me.
But my ruminations bout e future did not create in me a melancholy mood. Instead, I thot bout ways I could "redeem e time" I have left on earth. I began to pray, asking e Lord to help me finish my life well. I asked God to increase e fruitfulness of my ministries and to make my later years more effective than my younger years. Focusing on my mortality resulted in a recommitment of my life to Christ and his work.
Realising that we are going to die can become encouragement for living well and fully and can motivate us to invest more in eternity. As Psalm 90:12 says, wisdom comes when we "number our days".
Prayer:
God, help us to live for eternity by keeping e end of this life in view. In the character and ministry that you have given each of us, help us to finish well. Amen.
Thought for the day:
Realising life's brevity can become wisdom for living each day fully.

Quiet Time 30 Jan 2006
mum and sis and 2nd bro came to my hse 4 dinner
and i cooked for them. my sis is on m.c.
we enjoyed very much talking and
crapping. later we visited my bro who also stays in sengkang.
he went to fetch her eldest daughter who had abacus' learning.
after she came home, she started to do her higher chinese, maths.
she is now in P3. realised they have tones of hmwk
and find tt she is self discipline and her dad dun hv to
worry too much for her.
my other 2 cousins, 5 and 3 years old, are playing and
teasing each other. with them ard they can turn e hse
upside down...can u believe it???
wanna jot down my QT as a reminder before i forget.
Quiet Time for 30 Jan 2006
this msg is very close to my heart.
Harsh Words
Read luke 6:37-42
Do not judge, and you will not be judged.
Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.
Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
My mother is 65 years old. Every day she bustles in and out of the house doing chores from washing to cleaning to mopping to cooking for the family. One day she accidentally dropped the blender while washing it, and the plastic container cracked. It could not be used anymore. I was angry with her because I use the blender everyday. I would have to spend money to buy a new one. Without thinking, I scolder her for being careless, my words were harsh.
That evening before bed, the Lord spoke to me during my quiet time. The message was, "Do to others as you would have them do to you." (luke 6:31). Too often we find ourselves ready to pass judgment on someone. Why can't we instead choose to see them thru eyes of compassion and kindness as Christ did? Christ always looked at pple with compassion - and still does.
I was filled with remorse over how I had treated mum earlier that day. I asked God to forgive me. Then I went to mum's room, hugged her, and told her I was sorry for shouting at her. She forgave me, too.
Prayer:
Dear God, help us to see others with kindness and compassion, as you do. Teach us to be patient and forgiving towards others. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Thought for the day:
